Baby
Boutique Dresses the Little Ones with Customized
Rhinestone Art, Tie-Dye Clothes.
Jackson, NJ
(PRWEB)
- August 3, 2007 Artist Page Grome of Jackson,
NJ has taken her flair for fashion and graphic
design online with the launch of
www.BabyCoutureInc.com
creating designer tie-dye and rhinestone apparel
for babies and young children that's as unique
as they are.
Grome offers a wide selection of
onesies, shirts, pants, rompers, and hats that
can be customized to suit clients' preferences
in fabric color, rhinestone tint, ruffle, sleeve
length, and size (infants up to size 8).
Customers can also choose the "Create-Your-Own"
design option available at the website.
Grome is
riding the online spending wave for children's
merchandise predicted by the National Retail
Federation. The NRF expects that the percentage
of parents who plan to purchase merchandise
online will increase approximately 41% this
year. The organization estimates that parents
between the ages of 18-34 are the most likely to
shop online for children's merchandise,
especially clothing and accessories. Clothing
and accessories remains the largest spending
category of all, at $7.6 billion per year.
What sets
Grome apart, however, is that her merchandise
can't be bought at the local Wal-Mart. Grome
meets the needs of a growing number of parents
looking for unique apparel that reflects the
personality of their children.
This Jersey mom
uses the business strategy described by Susan Reda of the NRF who says that "It's not enough
anymore for retailers to carry the same
merchandise as their competition…Today's
retailers will get ahead by differentiating
their merchandise and offering products that
consumers cannot find anywhere else."
Grome is a
fashion designer using computer-aided design
(CAD) that, according to the Department of
Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics is
increasingly being used in the fashion design
industry. "I initially sketch designs by hand,
but then I translate these to the computer,
states Grome.
"CAD allows me to view and modify
designs on virtual models. This saves me time by
requiring fewer adjustments of prototypes
later." Grome has developed a Royal Line of
designer clothes for infants and young children
with Kay Neff of
www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com.
Baby Couture
Inc. is owned and operated by Page Grome of
Jackson, NJ. Contact Grome for information on
her hand-crafted apparel for infants and
children and for wholesale inquiries.
Grome will
soon be launching a sister site,
www.TheTottooParlor.com,
offering tattoo-inspired clothing for infants
and toddlers. |
